Richpen Airbrushes

The Richpen line of airbrushes is very comparable to the Iwata brand of airbrushes. Both are Japanese made, chrome plated, and are precisely machined. In fact, many of the replacement parts are interchangable on comparable models. One big difference is price. The Richpen manufacturer spends very little on advertising thereby reducing overhead and is able to sell their line at lower cost. The models we stock are listed below.

Phoenix Series

Richpen Phoenix 212A
Tip size 0.2 mm

Design primarily for fine detail work for use with dyes and inks.

Internal mix. Double action lever control lets you vary spray pattern width without stopping. Used for photo-retouching, techical illustration, medical illustration, etc., which require the most delicate perfection.

  • Features the most delicate spray for detail and precise work with a soft touch of finger lever control.
  • Pattern adjusts from a fine hair line to broad shadings.
  • Sprays a stipple (sandy) pattern when Nozzle Cap is removed.
  • Operates on 14 to 70 PSI, especially featuring consisten operation on low pressure at 14 PSI without trouble.

Quick joint. Plug (airbrush end) and socket (air hose end) offers quick-disconnect hose connections. Plug fits Richpen and Iwata airbrushes. Socket pressure fits a vinyl hose. Sold as a set.
